PORFLOW EXAMPLES DATABASE
Important -- Please Read: This is a collection of PORFLOW examples. Its uses are two fold:
- If you need help with setting a test case with say Fracture Flow, you can go to Chapter 3 (see table of contents below) and find a problem similar to yours, copy it from "TITLE" to "END" commands, and paste into a new file. Then:
- In CFDStudio, click "File > Import > Import Legacy Commands File" to import this new file into the CFDStudio environment, OR
- Run the new Commands File from command mode.
- Just as you see here, you can put more than one case - where case means collection of commands from one "TITLE" to the first "END" following it - in the same file. Note that you need to run this kind of "multi-case" files in command mode. CFDStudio environment is designed to work with "single-case" files.
To run PORFLOW in command (ms-dos or Unix shell) mode, all you need to do is enter the following syntax at a command prompt:
porflow <input_file_name> <output_file_name>
Note: If you do not want to enter the whole path to PORFLOW executable, you will need to add your installation directory to your system path.
