Note that all licenses are 'single seat'. This means the charges are applicable PER processor (CPU), and for ONE user.

4. MULTIPLE CPU LICENSE:

The prices above are on a per CPU basis. The license fee for a dual (TWO) processor SMP machine is 1.5 times the license fee for a single CPU machine. The license fee for a quad (FOUR) processor SMP machine is double that for a single CPU machine.

5. Terms and conditions for general end-user license:

1. PERPETUAL LICENSES never expire. Purchase of Priority Support for the first year and purchase of AMC for subsequent years is strongly encouraged. Please see our support options.
2. The ANNUAL END-USER and GENERAL CONSULTING LICENSE expire one year after the purchase date. The price for these versions include the purchase of Basic Support. Purchase of Priority Support is strongly encouraged. Please see our support options.
3. Updates for the software for a 2 year schedule will be provided to the clients with 20% discount on every purchase of new update, for every 6 months. The details of the charges of the updates are as follows:
   1. First 1 month               = Free
   2. 1 month to 6 months     = 80% credit to the purchase of next upgrade
   3. 7 months to 12 months   = 60% credit to the purhase of next upgrade
   4. 13 months to 18 months = 40% credit to the purchase of next upgrade
   5. 17 months to 24 months = 20% credit to the purchase of next upgrade
   6. 24 months and above     = New license should be purchased
4. Clients with Perpetual license will be charged a fee of $499.00 for the transfer of the software to a different computer system.
5. Clients with annual end-user license wll be charged a nominal fee of $99.00 for the transfer of software to a different computer system.
6. (*) A royalty is applicable to all consulting projects carried out by the client on a consulting basis for third parties. The nominal royalty is 15% or $4,995 per year, whichever is greater. The royalty rate is negotiable for higher guaranteed annual revenue.
7. For R&D work and for consulting users, ACRi recommends ANSWER Professional.
